Laura Taylor
Laura initially went to Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Portland, Oregon so she could enjoy social dancing. After taking an initial private lesson she realized that learning to dance from a professional was the best way to achieve her goals. She participated in private lessons weekly group classes, social dance events and performance showcases. She became passionate about dancing and decided to become a professionally trained instructor and went through the Arthur Murray training program at the Portland Studio. Later she moved to the Eugene Arthur Murray Studio where she also helped train instructors, manage the studio as well as teach private and group classes and participate in local and regional dance competitions with her students. She has been teaching independently for many years and has been an adjunct instructor for the University of Oregon Dance Department, and Northwest Christian University and many other organizations as well as past Music Director and Dance Instructor Coordinator for the University of Oregon Ballroom Dance Club.
